The way points of this bicycle route:
We are going to take a different route to get to Lynden Wa. This will take us to a nice straight long road into the city
Start on Sammish way and turn Right onto PASCO St. after you pass Abbot St
bear left as street becomes HUMBOLT ST
Right onto LAKEWAY DRIVE. pass under I5
Continue past PUGET STREET on LAKE WAY DRIVE.
Turn Left onto OLD WOBORN ST. at round about
OLD WODBURN ST connects with WOBURN ST. Stay on road for 4 miles till H-542/E SUNSET DR.
Cross big intersection of H-542. Road bears right and becomes HANNEGAN ROAD. Stay on this road to Lynden for 12 miles.
Cross over the river and turn left onto MAIN street (intersection). on the right side, about 2 blocks down is DUTCH MOTHERS. they have a saturday buffet that will fill you up. Border is near. get ready.
Continue on MAIN street and turn right onto DOUBLE DUTCH RD. Take for 4 miles
at the US/CA border, turn left onto E BORDER ROAD. do yourself a favor and don't cross here.
Stand in line with the cars. present passport and follow all directions. After the border, you want to continue heading west so keep bearing left around the crossing. Then Right onto 0 STREET, heading west. DO NOT GO UP THE HILL.
Turn right onto 248 STREET, and go about 9 miles to 72nd AVE. ---THE WALL COMMITH---
Left onto 72nd
Turn Right onto 240th ST. if you miss this turn you will start an unwanted decent. go back.
down hill with sharp turn. ---SLOW DOWN. sharp corners coming---
Right on RAWLISON CRESCENT. Bears left and becomes 240th again
Turn Left onto River road. EXTREME CAUTION over tracks Walk bikes.
ride through Fort Langley. RIVER ROAD becomes MAVIS. Right on GLOVER ROAD Bridge
Glover Road has restaraunts. Or continue to the ferry dock.
After the ferry ride, follow traffic up the hill and turn Left onto the LOUGHEED HWY. Possible food stops nearby.
After about 4 miles on the highway, Turn Right onto 224 STREET (after the Valley Fair Mall)
Turn Left onto ABERNETHY WAY before you get to Horesman's Park. It becomes 128th
Turn Right, before you get to 210th, onto Tight gravel path that is scenic and adds 2 miles to ride. Use the official map if not using trail.
Get off the trail and head right over the bridge
Turn right onto Coast Meridian Road.
Left onto LINCOLN DRIVE
At the end, take Left onto SHAUGHNESSY STREET then, emmediatly turn right onto the trail. Walk bike over the foot bridge. continue to PATRICIA AVE
Turn right onto Woodland drive and continue throught the Jersy Barricades. Go on Sidwalk. Caps's Bike Shop.
Left onto GLEN DRIVE. Right onto WESTWOOD. Left onto GUILDFORD WAy
GILFORD WAY becomes MURRAY STREET. Pool stop with ice cream and shade
Continue on MURRAY and immediatly take a right onto the onramp onto MOODY STREET
Right onto CLARK STREET. continue till your merge right onto BARNET HWY
Turn Left onto HASTINGS STREET. Busy intersection.
Right onto DUTHIE AVE
Right onto UNION STREET
Union becomes Hammerskjold drive.
Left at the Intersection of FELL and Fellburn Hospital.
Right onto FRANCES STREET
Cross over Boundary road and it becomes ADAnAC STREET
follow for 3 miles and turn Left onto VERNON DRIVE. Then immeditaly turn Right onto UNION Steet
Follow UNion through the Bike only Through way. Right on Gore STREET
Left on ALEXANDER STREET at the end of the street.
immeditaly take the right onto MAIN street and go up the ramp
Right onto WATERFRONT Road. watchout for pedestrians.
Go under CANADA PLACE CONVENTION CENTER. Continue West to SEASSIDE TRAIL. Do not head back to the convention Center.
Go on CORDOVA STREET. the water should be on your right side.
Take CORDOVA to the end and turn Left onto JERVIS STREET
Turn right onto Hastings
Left onto CARDERO
Left onto Robson
