The way points of this bicycle route:
This ride starts when you get off the ferry. Hang around for a bit while all of the cars go past then follow your nose out on to the Esplanade
Left on to Point Nepean Road
Tootgarook
Main highway veers to the right. Continus straight ahead on to Marine Drive
Underneath the aquaduct
Straight ahead on to Esplanade. This is narrow and windy but very scenic.
Left at roundabout, still on Esplanade
Right at Tanti Avenue just before big hill
Left on to Nepean Highway
Turn right at Wells Street if you want to catch the train from here, otherwise, continue straight through.
Turn right at Station Street for Seaford station, otherwise continue straight ahead.
First right after bridge on to Station Street
Left after railway line on to Station Street. The road follows the railway line to Mordialloc so there are plenty of bail out points
Right on to Nepean Highway
Continue straight through for the station, otherwise turn left at the roundabout on to Beach Road
Turn right at Melrose Street for the station, otherwise continue straight ahead
Turn right at South Road for station, otherwise (you guessed it) continue straight ahead.
The road leaves the beach and becomes St Kilda Street
Left on to Ormond Esplanade
Road becomes Marine Parade
Jacka Boulevard
Beaconsfield Parade
Beach Street
Turn right at station pier and pick up the path by the tram line.
Turn left off bike path on to Clarendon Street
Spencer Street
Finish at Spencer Street station
