The way points of this bicycle route:
You can park the car here at the edge of the Bridal Way or on the main street at the top of Marlow Bottom
Little uphill section
Turn left onto Little Marlow Road then first right into Glade Road. Can be very busy so watch out!!
Head towards the river or take a break on the grass. There are seating areas here too.
Continue along the path, its tight here so be careful for people walking!!
Head under the bridge
Lots of kissing gates on route which is a real pain but this is a gentle route
A beach on the right to cool off!!
Spade Pub and Grill on the left or continue on... Path gets increasingly narrow and slower but still possible to pass.
Passing by the Sailing Club you must dismount and pass through a gate. You can return to your cycle at the other end.
Very narrow section sometimes not possible to pass without pushing the bike and pulling over to let people pass.
You can cut the route short here by cutting up to Wharf Ln to Bourne End and back or continue on over the rail bridge
Rail Bridge you must cross here. This means carrying the bike up the steps.
You have another choice to continue towards the blue road bridge where the Ferry Pub is located or split here and head towards Cookham.
Pass through the car park towards the main road. Watch the road is very busy.

Turn left here
You can turn right here and take first left to Ferry Pub and Grill nice place to stop and relax with a bite to eat by the river before moving on to Bourne End.

Old road bridge
Bourne End railway station on the left (goes to Maindenhead and London Paddington or to Marlow - known as Marlow Donkey)
Continue into Bourne End high street
Cycle track lane on the left
Keep in middle lane then look out for cycle lane on left. Watch out for broken glass in the cycle lane!!

Keep in right lane past the fire station as left is to the business park and Marlow Club Gym.
Continue into Marlow or turn right to return to Marlow Bottom again
Downhill section at last get some speed up

This trip takes you on the Thames Way and by the river most of the way. Although you are slowed up by lots of barriers on route it's a lovely route on a sunny day and taking it easy. I would recommend for mountain bike only due to the mud if it rains.
