| An urban route crossing the Queensboro bridge out to Alley Park and back via Brooklyn and the Manhattan bridge. Mostly on roads with bike lanes or on greenways. A few tricky intersections as one would expect in NYC, but a good weekend route with low to medium traffic. Horace Harding Expy (along the LIE) may be the longest portion with heavier / fast moving traffic, so be careful there. | |||||

| Starting in Congress Park this route goes past the Race Track, Yaddo Gardens and out to the country. You will cross Fish Creek, the outlet to Saratoga lake where 5 groups row. Fitch Road is a beautiful country road with horse farms, and a apple orchard with a small gift shop. Views of Fish creek, and Saratoga lake. On the way back, you will pass Lake Lonely, and the back side of Saratoga National Golf Course. You will also pass the Saratoga Harness Track, and Racino, and the back stretch of the Flat Track. Return to congress park, and then stop for a coffee or drink at one of the many shops or restaurants on Broadway.
