| Passing through: head through stainton, turn left out of maltby, head for hutton rudby, turn off for yarm past the prison, turn left on main road and head for worsal, go past worsal, turn off through appleton wiske, turn left out of village head for welbury, head for and through east harsley, turn left on a684 under bridge to osmotherley, turn right in osmotherley, then left for hawnby, lots of short sharp climbs for 12 miles, go down the bank in hawnby cross the river then climb take the first left for the helmsley road, turn left on the helmsley road all the way back to great broughton, turn left at round about in great broughton, turn right in kirby for stokesley, go through stokesley high street, turn right for seamer, turn right for stainton, back to the blue the way you came out, back at the pub for a pint |

| Passing through: middlesbrough, bluebell corner, left off low lane for stainton, go through seamer and head for stokesley, stokesley, kirby turn left, great broughton turn right at round about head for helmsley, go up clay bank tastey climb, fast decent, chop gate straight on, fast blast along the valley floor, fast blast down into hemsley, helmsley good point for refresments shops and cafes, helmsley from here take the A170 to kirby moorside, kirbymoorside go straight on, turn left forkeldholme and hutton-le-hole here starts a 10 mile climbe to the top of blakey ridge, hutton-le-hole go straight through it ramps up for haqlf a mile or so just as you leave the village, great views, if you have the energy to look , the lion in, nice place to stop for a break if your not in a hurry, top of the climb, fast downhill to castleton, stay on the main road, before castleton turn left just after the cattle gride and the speed warning sign, fast down hill, go over cross raods watch for cars, nasty sharp climb, bear right at junction sta... |
